Tags: honestly i just think having so many labels is stupid, label everything!!!,

this may be a dumb question BUT what is the difference between pansexual and bisexual?? are all these terms really necessary?? i’m curious

  1. hollypockets said: I’d go with the first description but change it to ‘regardless of gender identity’ instead of ‘despite’
  2. ifkanyewasfemme said: Pansexuality is when you’re attracted to people despite Gender identity (male, female, trans*, non gender binary people, etc) Bisexuality is when you’re attracted to Male and Females only (and often only cisgendered folk)
  3. queen-wasp said: I thought pansexual was someone who finds people attractive regardless of gender? Like, they don’t see a sex as such.. Basically is bisexual in a way? This is what I’ve been told anyway, I may be completely wrong!
  4. lepamplemoussedelamort said: bisexual is always open to everyone, and pansexual is occasionally open to everyone basically.
  5. lousyshotatpublicrecognition said: They say that pansexual is about personality but I guess that’s saying bisexual means you only go for looks? I don’t get it.
